Was planning to watch the Iron Bowl and got a call at about noon...it was PaulJ. He was at the dam launching his new boat and wanted to know if I was interested. :o One part of me wanted to stay home and watch the game and the other wanted to go wet a hook. I started thinking about that 20 foot new Skeeter with the 250 Vmax on it and could not help myself. He picked me up at about 12:30 at HBSP. emoThumbsup It was very slow and tough. The bass seemed to be there but not eating. We had about 12 blowups on top, a couple hits on cranks and a couple more on worms. In all only three bass came into the boat. emoScratch Very tough, a lot of one hit wonders.....one hit and you wonder how big it was. I lost one on a frog we saw that was a good one and another pulled off on a crank. Paul also lost one on a crank and had what appeared to be a very big bass move some serious water after his frog but did not take it. It guess the cold front moving in had them shut off and we were getting reaction strikes. Got off the water around 4:30 and I still got to see the end of the game. emoSmile emoThumbsup

Thanks Paul for the invite and today the Hogs play LSU, I am not missing that one. GO HOGS!!!! emoApplause Jmax
