Hey all curious if any of you knew if Bountiful Lake has iced over? I am itching to use my pontoon boat once this year but a single pin never showed up so I couldn't assemble it yet. Finally got the pin so I am dying to try somewhere.
Also I was curious what does it cost to use a pontoon on most waters? Would I need to pay if I was at East Canyon/ Pineview places such as those? Or is that only if I use their ramps? Thanks for any advise as I am completely unexperienced in the boat area of fishing!
Thanks in advance

I(f you use the ramp or parking you have to pay.
The great thing is that if you don't use those things, you don't have to pay.
At East canyon this opens up the whole East side to you. If you can find a place to park off the road, of which there are several, you are OK to carry your toon to the water and launch for free. Once on the water the entire lake is free to use, which is great unless you want to fish by the dam, then it would be a fairly long row there and back.
Same at the view. If you use the ranp or parking, you will have to pay. There are options thoughe are several access points on the East side of Pineview where you can carry down to and launch for free. Some of the best spring crappie fishing to be had is in these areas.

[cool][#0000ff]Pineview is not collecting fees at the Port Ramp during fall and winter months. Free launch as long as it is open water.[/#0000ff]
