Success @ Quail Creek or Sand Hollow with winter temps?
#1
I have a friend who has a vacation home in Hurricane UT. Although, I haven't fished Quail or Sand Hollow much, we were wanting to go down this weekend to check it out. I don't do a ton of bass fishing, but have seen a couple things about fishing for bass in colder/winter temps can be difficult. Should we bypass these lakes and head to his house boat in the Bullfrog slips? Anyone that has any info on these lakes or how to fish them at this time of year? I would surely appreciate any info you can give about this!!! Thanks!

Not sure about Quail or Sand Hollow, but I'm sure the Stripers are still biting at Powell. Most Smallies and Largies are deep 6 and it takes quite a bit to get them to bite. that being said its a large lake!
