Scofield conditions?

Just wondering if anyone has braved the storm the mountains have been having and been to scofield in the last day or so?

What is the ice / slush / snow conditions? I am thinking of going up tomorrow.

jonesnforfish reported about 5" of slush on the 20th? I cancelled my trip on Tuesday due to bad road conditions. I looked at the webcams on US 6 and the roads were horrible. Let us know how it goes.

I fished it on Wednesday, 6-8" of slush where your waders. We caught some fish , all small. Terrible conditions it needs to have a hard freeze again.

Went to Scofield this morning and caught about 30 cuts and bows between the three of us. As for the ice conditions they suck. There is about 5 inches of water under 4 inches of new snow. If you go take some really tall waterproof boots. Although it was kinda cool to make a swimming pool around the hole for the fish to swim in. Hope it helps.

Slush monster city! Take your waders if your planning on going in the next few days. There was a good 8 inches of ice but there was about 5-6 inches of slush on top of the ice with about 2 inches of snow on top of that. The fishing was pretty good, between the 4 of us that went we iced about 40 fish in about 4 hours, lots of little ones the biggest we caught was about 14 inches. Still had a good time even though the slush was horrible.

we just got back from scofield and we iced about 20 or so little cutts as for the ice we were over near the island and the ice was about 10" with about 4" of frozen slush with maybe 1 to 2" of snow the weather could not have been better as for the road this morning they were slick in spots but mostly clear just a great day out with my son,son in law and grandson

What time did you start fishing, and when did the bite slow down? My little girl wants to break in her new Barbie pole she opened for her birthday/xmas present.
