Scofield Success
#1
Went to Scofield on New Year's Day and did very well. We were there about 4 hours and caught close to thirty fish. All were cutts about 12" and skinny. They were biting anything that had a mealworm attached to it. A couple guys caught a few by jigging a Jakes with salmon eggs. Other than dropping my phone down the hole it was a great day - but cold! Good luck!

We made 3 trips in a week to Scofield from Layton, the action was so good. Fishing in ~15 feet of water, the action was fast and continuous. Great place for those just learning to ice fish, because they'll get a lot of chances to learn what the bite looks like.
But I'm glad some of the waters closer to home are going now.
