Thanks to the cold weather i made it back to the frozen block of ice where the fishin is fast and fun. I kept these to eat and they were good. I threw approx 10 fish back to catch another day.

Yes it seems their is plenty to go around these are the first Gills that I have taken home ever. They were pretty tasty but filleting in the freezing was bad the wife didn't like the fact of dead smelly fish in her kitchen but it was the only choice, So no more harvesting fish threw the ice. Catch and release is the way to go.

Thats funny my wife wouldnt have minded the smell as long as there were fish to fry. [] I would have filleted them outsideif i were you . I do need to get out fishing soon as i get me an auger.
