went down to palies today to see what i could find.. found a bunch of small bow's 8 to 12 inchs.. not much more then that.. caught some tigers small as well. big fish of the day was over 20 inchs. but had to weed through about 40 small ones to get to it..
ice was 3 to 5 inchs pending on where ya check.. about 2 feet of slush around the edges after that the ice is good.. the lake is comeing up so the edges will be soft for a while.. had a duck try to take stuff out of my sled today there too first time for everything.. lol

I don't know what the better part of your trip is; The big tiger or the crazy duck! I hit palie earlier this week with the same results you had only I lost my big tiger at the hole. Thanks for the report.

lol well the Duck was funny but when it started moving stuff around in the sled i had to get after it.. it's tame so it was not all that scaired of me.. it trying to come in the ice hut 2 or 3 times too.. [sly].. well after i give it part of my snadwitch that is.. i guess that was a invite to come on in.. lol [sly][sly]

[#0000ff]I have had quite a few "feathery friends" cruise up to say howdy while tubing at various waters. The friendliest were the three ducks in the attached pictures...at Starvation.[/#0000ff]

well i think it's a domestic duck. there was 2 of them but only one came over to say hi.. there also was 2 canadin honkers that stop in about 20 feet away from the hut.. thats how close i was to the open water.. they stayed tell i started braking camp.
