I have always done well using the old standby of sweedish pimple or castmaster with an ice fly on a 12'dropper. Tip with waxies or crawler. I use green or shrimp colored rat finkes a lot on the dropper. I didnt fish it a lot last year but the one time I did I managed a limit of rainbows.

I should have added these days I usually go in from the boat ramp and head pretty much straight out to 35 + feet of water. I used to go off the side by the highway near the 2nd outhouse but I am getting too old to enjoy pulling my sled bach up that steep hill. For trout you will usually find them suspended in 12 to 20 feet of water
