Hit up Deer Creek by the island today. Only fished for about two hours. We caught 10 bows between the three of us. We fished in 65 feet hoping to get into some perch. I marked lots of fish on the bottom with my finder but could not get any to bite. I am convinced these fish were not perch or trout because I think we would have caught some if they were. Maybe walleye, or carp??? All fish were caught suspended about 15-20 feet below the ice. Largest was about 18 inches and just over two pounds. I am once again happy with the overall health of the trout in DC hope the white bass dont mess the lake up. Good luck

Walleyes are mainly at the south end this time of year, following the perch in deep water of 70' or more.
