Rockport 1-22-11

Well we (Scott and I, with 2 pups) got there about 6:30am. Parking was great, and what a surprise heated bathrooms! We went 200 yards down from the boat ramp. Started at 50 feet deep, and watched the fish finder we saw fish in shallower. we moved in to 35 feet and then to 21feet. We were seeing fish around and got a couple hits, but nothing reeled in [mad]? We tried waxies, millies, and nightcrawlers, we stayed to 2:00pm. Does anybody have any suggestions for rockport?

We got there around 8:00 a.m. on the west side of the lake. Headed down to the ice about 60 yards out from shore. We caught one in about 15 min. water was at 45 feet deep but it was caught only 10 feet under the ice. Tried to move around but no luck. Drilled holes from 13 feet to 66 feet. Only caught 3 fish all day. Spoke to others that had no luck either. Better luck next time.
