Looking for someone to ice fish with this weekend
#1
Hi - I am a long time lurker here and I ice fish a lot at Hyrum and Mantua. I would love to fish PV and get into some crappies, never caught them before. I dont have many fishing buds so I always fish alone. If someone that knows Pine View and is headed up there this weekend, and wouldn't mind some company, let me know. I am open to other locations as well. P.S. I have all my own equipment ect.

Thanks in advance
Tom

Sounds like another BFT perch party this week (unofficial) at Pineview. I will be there off of Browning early AM and stay till mid day. Say hi if you see us. Jet sled with PVC rod holders and BFT stickers.

I'm kind of in the same boat as far as not having many fishing buddies. I also like meeting new folk and haven't fished Pineview much let alone perch. PM me if the invite is still out there.

I will probably be going to the veiw on thursday, I usually park at port ramp and wander from there to wherever I end up. I'm still trying to find the bluegill, can't seem to find them now that its frozen.

I love the whole thread - I'm right there with ya. First year on ice - have had a grand 'ol time at Mantua, Hyrum, but have the itch to venture. This cold-snap - awful favorable!

My personal ice-barometer (pond) tells me ice is reforming. Should be a good weekend! Hopefully I'll make it down there. You can walk from Browning to Cemetery once your on the ice, no?

Looks like it will be a good time at PV Saturday! I will need to print this thread out to take along so that I can identify all of you. Thanks for the hospitality.

I'd love to join you all this weekend, but I am doing the fundraiser derby at Sulphur Creek for my softball girls on Saturday. I fish PV a lot with great success and wouldn't mind getting to fish with some of you. If anyone changes their mind about PV and can come to the derby for the day on Saturday it would be awesome. I can definitely get together some other weekend and put a dent in the panfish population.
