So a few of us are planning to hit up Bear Lake this Friday for some hard deck action. We are hoping that some productive areas will be fishable by Friday but we know we may have to change plans.
We would like to fish with cisco and are wondering if anyone has extra that we can buy off them or trade for some decent company on the ice? We would be leaving Utah County at about 4 a.m.
Thanks.

I dont know if you know this, but buying cisco isnt exactly legal as they are a game fish..........
Pugstones is selling Sucker meat and Chubs in Garden City......In my experience the sucker meat works well, and stays on the hook throughout a few misses thats likely to happen.
If you have your heart set on cisco and the ice is still safe get with me on Friday (if we still have safe ice) and I would be happy to give you a few. I hope to be out there somewhere.

I wouldn't get your heart set on fishing the hard deck at bear lake just yet, my buddy that lives there says that most of the ice blew off over the weekend and he expects to be able to launch a boat within the next day or two.

You are welcome to join or "lend" us some cisco. We know that there may not be ice on Friday but with the forecasted cold temps and no wind, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Do you think the age of the CIsco's matter much? I have some Cisco's in my freezer from a couple years back, maybe 2 or 3 years? Do you think they will still work or will the lakers be able to tell they are not fresh?
