Devil's Creek?

Just curious if anyone has fished it lately? How are the edges and what is the ice like?

The ice is very thick. I would guess at least 18". The edges are soft. We got on at the boat ramp and there were two big 2 x 12's stretched out that someone had provided. That made it nice. I did see at least one 4-wheeler on the ice and one side-by-side

My daughter & I started out the morning at Crowthers, fishing was really good, but the size of fish is very small. We packed up from there and didn't hit Devils until about 10. Fishing was good for the first half hour or so, then it really slowed down. We ended up with about half a dozen landed, and probably 3-4 times that many bites. They were just barely touching it and then only once, they would not give you a second chance. From the looks of the other groups out there, it must have been slow. We watched one guy, for the couple of hours we were there constantly throwing a frisbee for his dog. That dog never stopped, even when he was headed in he was still throwing the frisbee & the dog was still chasing it. Nice weather & I had fun with my daughter.
