Why I was near Cascade I wanted to try a new place and had about two hours of fishing time, so we decded to try Horsethief; wow what pretty place! The ice is aproaching two feet, and I am pretty sure the Oxygen levels are down, but we did manage to ice two in 1.5 hours of fishing mine was 15'' and my son's was 16''. He also lost two at the hole. A good storm was coming in, so we left a little early to head home. Not bad for a 11:00 am to 12:30 pm trip. If you go expect to walk the last quarter mile, but its a nice walk.
