I threw together a tasty batch of perch-rice. Thought I'd share this simple recipe.
I picked up some "New Orleans style Jambalaya" rice mix. Threw down some Chorizo and Red Wine sausage, and cooked into the rice mix (splashed a bit of beer in place of some of the water). At the very end - toss in some 'marinaded' perch filets (salt, pepper, titch of cayenne, lemon pepper).
I had to laugh, as my wife bit in - and exclaimed - you put perch in this?! Hence the surprise!
