went to strike on sat. only caught about 40 crappie/perch which was more than anyone else we saw. after it got warm we tried for bass. only caught 8 but a 3.5 smallie and a 4 largie with 3 15 inch rainbows on bass stuff. water was only 47. each week it should pick up more.

Great to hear!
Are they out deep or are you catching them closer to shore?
Any pictures?

As a counterpoint, had a friend and 2 others go out to Strike on Saturday and fished from shore. They went around the main body and the Bruneau arm and caught only a single perch in about 5 hours of fishing. Lures, Powerbait and worms were the temptations.
Getting the feeling that boating on Strike is really the only way to catch much.

Float tubes and pontoons will get you into fish on strike. I do it all the time. Ron
