I fished the SF yesterday and had a blast. Caught 13 fish total, 4 cutts and 9 browns. Had multiple chances to catch other fish (could have easily been a 20+ fish day but I'm still a little rusty). Most fish were in the 12-16" range but landed one brown around 20" or so. I also missed a couple other nice sized fish. I got a little over anxious when they hit my streamer and tried to set the hook too early or pulled to hard. Lost a few fish as I was bringing them in as well. Overall a great day on the river. Saw som beautiful scenery and a couple moose and few deer and a bunch of swans. Couldn't have asked for a better first day back on the water.

Nice fish. Congrats on the great day on the river. Is that just a green crystal buggar that you were using? What color was the tail on it? Just wondering I havent used that color before. Looks like you found one of my favorite fishing places on the SF. Not hard to find though.

Cool report...one of my favorite spots also. Certainly doesn't seem to be a shortage of browns in that area. I'd be willing to bet that those browns are eating their share of cutts and then some.....The browns own that river.

I floated that section of the river Sunday. There's defiantly no shortage of browns. We landed 30 fish and only one wasn't a brown. All fish were between 12" to 16". Great float weather was beautiful.
