South fork (snake) 3-23-11

Went for a walk around the river again today. It was a little on the windy side but other than that a great day . Ended up getting 16 fish to come and play. All were around 14"-16" biggest being 17".

thats pretty impressive. i also went for a little walk but didn't do much cause i had my son with me, but i didn't get even one to take. but i didn't exactly have the gear with me that i needed. are you using worms or just those roe colored beads?

I was using sucker meat. I just use those beads for some color.

wow. well now i know what to use from now on. what part of the river do you fish? deep holes or ripples?

I fish any where from Palies too Menan mostly deep holes but the ripples will give up fish as well.

I am looking forward to my first fishing trip on the south fork this year. Caught some great trout last year on it.
