Fished the north bridge this morning with StickRig. We got our lines in the water about 11 and managed to catch about 15 fish by 1pm. It was just a short trip but we managed to get into some fish even in the snow and wind. I think the biggest catch was a nice cuttbow on a rapala. I mostly fished down on the split in the river and landed 4 fish on a silver Kastmaster. I also landed 3 more browns in the 12-14" range on the east side of the bridge. It was a productive few hours and we managed to keep warm by reeling in fish! I will see if I can get some pics from StickRig soon.

The water is pretty high right now and had lots of floating debris (logs and grass, etc.) but the fishing is starting to pick up a little bit. I think that as the temps get a little higher the water will warm up and the monsters will start waking up from their slumber!

Went back out there this afternoon and caught some fish between 3 of us. The water was really high and flooding most of the surrounding bank. We just found the deeper spots and anywhere the water was slower. I Think it will be best to head north for the next week or so until the water drops and becomes bearable again!
