I was just given a beautiful 1963 Fenwick Salmon Steelhead pole, it needs the eyes rewraped.
So I'm looking for a recomendation for a rod builder or repair shop.
I live in the Magic valley area, but would be willing to send it out,, i just want the best job possible.
Thanks for any help...

Any rod wrapper can do it, it will just be matching the thread. Good luck! Sounds great.

Thanks for the reply flygoddess, this is a pretty special pole, the old timer that gave it to me is a true Gentleman and a great fisherman.
he's managed to catch many hundreds of salmon and steel head in the last 48 years using this pole and not break it,,, i want to get this into the best hands i can.

I would be glad to a repair job for you. I'm in Idaho Falls, and I teach rod building classes. As FG stated the only real trouble would be matching up the thread colors. My wife is traveling to Buhl on Saturday and I could ship it back to you. Give me a PM if you have any questions or concerns.

Artist extraordinaire?? Thats good enough for me..
Thank you Eddie, I have read about some of the good deeds you do and i feel plenty of good mojo from ya, I will PM you.. Thanks again.
And thank you Flygoddess, wish i could make the expo but thats the opener for Turkey season, i also have a rock reserved just outside Riggens for the jetboat races,
Idaho just has to many things going on, just gotta pick and choose i guess.
If you ever want to fish the Woodriver I'd be more than happy to point you towards
the best it has to offer..
