Henry's Fork
#1
Little late, but it's the same week! With the poor reports on steelhead from the weekend I took Monday afternoon and headed to the Henry's Fork above Chester with a friend. Got there around 2pm and managed to catch a decent bow (about 17") right off. After that we had a couple fish on, but couldn't land them. Walked upriver a ways and got into a bunch. We then headed back down the other side and had more hits and landed one more, but nothing of real consequence other than one that snapped my 6# tippet with hardly any effort. Total count was 4 fish landed each, and 3-5 fish each lost. Most were caught on brown rubber legs. One on a san juan worm and 2 on a brown rubber leg/wooly bugger hybrid thing I tied up. Good day other than the wind.

Thanks for the report. The wind is what has been scaring me away from flyfishing lately.
