ODNR Appoints Delaware County Resident as Chief of the Divisions of Soil and Water Resources and Recycling and Litter Pr

COLUMBUS, OH - Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Director David Mustine announced today the appointment of Ted Lozier as Chief of the Division of Soil and Water Resources and the Division of Recycling and Litter Prevention.

"Ted is dedicated to the protection and enhancement of Ohio's soil and water resources," said Director Mustine. "He also understands the need for efficiencies in government that provide support for economic growth while effectively managing our natural resources."<br />
Lozier most recently served as Deputy Chief of the Division of Soil and Water Resources. He began his career with ODNR in 1984 as a project engineer for the former Division of Water's water engineering group; he served as co-leader of ODNR's Steering Committee for the State's Quality Initiative.<br />
He left state government for a brief period during which time he owned a company that provided commercial maintenance and cleaning services. He also worked for two oil companies and a regional engineering consulting company.<br />
Lozier received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering degree and a Master of Business administration degree from The Ohio State University. He also graduated from the Ohio Certified Public Managers Program in October 2001 and is a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio.<br />
Lozier resides in Genoa Township, Delaware County with his wife and two sons.<br />
