Snake River AND the Teton?
#1
Been wanting to get a few people to come down to the teton river area, near the power generators in the canyon if anyone knows where that was. [#ff0000]Edited[/#ff0000] We usually go with Teton Springs... there contracted guides know what they're doing and for the cost of the trip and lodge stay (which was incredible), it was well worth it.

There are a few others like Teton Valley Lodge, PaliSades outfit, and more... some will take you down the teton some won't. Looking forward to our next trip down the Snake, the river is rising, soon it will be down to perf fishing level! We're in the bright orange DB... say hi!

When down in the Teton River Canyon, there are some nice browns and cut's... very few rainbows. WATCH out for rattle snakes though... tons near the rocks on the walk down.

Welcome to BFT.

This sounds like an advertisement. If it is talk to the administration about getting one of those flashy ads on the side bars. If its not then I misread you and I fish that area all the time in the summer.

Your right. There are tons of rattlesnakes, cougars, bears, flesh eating bacteria, rock slides etc...[:p][Wink].

Some of them flesh eating bacteria are large too! I seen one that could cast a shadow clear across the Teton and that was at noon! [Image: surprised.gif] [Image: happy.gif]

Roger that! We park the jet at the bottom and wade/fish up it. 45 min before dark that set of side channels is unreal! Wish you guys that float it in drifts could see what it is really like for that last hour before dark! Pulled a 23in brown out of that area on my 2 wt last august. He had fed up into the shallows and I pulled him out of about a 16 inches of water.
