Steel head Fishing Stanley
#1
Fished above Stanley yesterday, fish are moving up but not a ton of them due to the cold. My dad and I each hooked three. Saw more we could not convince to bite. We fished til around 2 pm when the snow go so bad you could not see very good. It was a good day.

We were using Fly gear by the way. Leaches and egg patterns type flies.

Quick question...Is the river between challis and stanley running clear??? I went with my two boys two weeks ago and hooked fish as did they but none were brought to net [:p] The 11 year old hooked 3 and I think is hooked for life.[cool] Just wondering if it is worth making another run up or if conditions are poor? This years reports have been thin so it's hard to tell [sly]
