Don't Let Congress Throw Michigan to the Wolves
Legislation in Congress - H.R. 509 and S. 249 - would take the politics out of wolf management under the Endangered Species Act and allow states like Michigan to properly manage wolves based on science.

The Michigan House of Representatives calls on Congress to make this happen. Unfortunately, Congress's most recent action to delist wolves in some Western states as part of the federal budget deal left Michigan in the dust. [#008000]I be willing to let our elected officials take a one year vacation with pay. Do you know how much that would save us in the long run, while preventing many new laws from being enacted that infringe on our personal right. The so called do "gooders" do more harm than they are worth.[/#008000]

Too bad they have to get involved in a wolf mangement plan to pass a budget. How about they leave that to the states to control and concentrate on a balanced budget.[crazy]

It should be unlawfull to put policy and programing in the same bill.

since when is mandating the dilverance of food stamps to the hungry masses or deciding weather or not to tax a carton of cigaretts or to decide to make clemency and turn unlawfull squatters in to ligitamate citizens have anything to do with each other.

There is no wonder in my mind why and how things are being screwed up more and more with each passing ellection.

to put it in short, I agree with you. it is a waist of ink and paper to set things in a conglutant mass of print that the average person on the street will not have access to read.
