IF the wind had blown just a little bit harder the fish might have turned on. We tried several different approaches today and most of them didn't work. We were able to sqeak out a small limit on a spinnerbait but you had to slow roll it. I even tried several different varieties of cadence but basically it had to fished like a swimming jig with a blade on it. The fish were hitting the blade and you feel several thumps but no takers. The fish that did decide to eat would just plaster it. I was very fortunate to fish with Nickajack Angler today and I hope to be able to do it again. All in all it was just a good day....
