San Antonio, Texas - Collegiate anglers competing in the 2011 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship and Collegiate Bass Fishing Open presented by Pepsi will have the opportunity to win prizes for presenting their fishing conservation ideas, with the top prize being the angler featured on several nationally televised fishing programs. The Berkley Conservation Institute (BCI) will award the top 3 anglers whose presentations are submitted by June 20th, 2011. Winners will be determined by a panel of judges.
Anglers are encouraged to be creative with their presentations (Videos, Power Point, etc.). In addition to the quality of the presentation, the judges will consider how well the anglers perform; as well as how they carry themselves and promote fishing during the Championship event.
Awards:
1st place Guest appearance to be featured on BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship™, Cabela's Fisherman's Handbook™ and Americana Outdoors® television programs where the winner will go fishing while discussing their conservation thoughts and college bass fishing. Include airfare to San Antonio, Texas, lodging, meals and fishing license on the trip.

"This award requires the collegiate anglers to utilize all their talents including creativity, skills developed as a result of their college education, business acumen to handle on camera interviews, and their overall fishing skills."
The Berkley Conservation Institute was developed to support conservation and angler recruitment efforts. BCI cooperates with fishing groups, conservation organizations, customers and other industry partners to protect our fishable waters. Berkley also collaborates to enhance populations of important sport fish and introduce the next generation to the delight of angling while teaching them to lead the fight for conservation.
