Well, my luck has finally dried up. I hit Deer Creek again early Saturday morning with my buddy, and an 11 yr old kid he big brother's for.
We had a few bites at DC, but never landed anything. And much like last week, I managed to hook in to another stick fish, but didn't land the real fish.
Moved over to Rockport, and fished on the west side. Had a few bites, but neither me nor my buddy caught anything.
The 11 yr old however, who has never been fishing, managed a 15.5" and a 17" rainbow. Beautiful fish. Needless to say he is now hooked (pun intended) on fishing, and can't wait to go again.
