Norman (Labman) and I went to the Riverpark in search of the red breast sunfish and we caught a mixed bag today. Not as many fish today as yesterday, but better quality fish. Same technique as yesterday's report, so I won't repeat myself.

45 redbreasts
2 bluegills
2 blue cats
2 white bass
3 goggle eyes
1 largemouth bass
11 spotted bass

All released. Norman and I discovered a couple more hotspots for the red breasts that we didn't know about before. It is always good to find new places when you go fishing. Water temp was a consistent 67.7 degrees and the water was stained. I don't know what TVA was doing with the flow today. For a short time, it seemed as if they had shut down completely, but 10 minutes later, the current was back up, but not as fast as it was in the beginning. It will be interesting to look at the website and see what is reported. The wind got up later on in the morning and the fish basically shut down around 11:00 AM. We stopped fishing just after 11:30 AM. Boat back on the trailer by 12:00.

We saw Fishingfool and NitroMike battling the wind on the rip-rap banks. They had caught some white bass before the wind got too strong for their trolling motor. Good talking to you Terry and Mike.

emoBig emoGeezer
