I know Curtis and he is an awesome guy and one heck of a fisherman I have fished with him and his dad and his grandpa all great people and they can catch fish.. Go to roughing it outdoors and vote for curtis and the photo so he can win the photo of the month or whatever it is

Sweet fish. Bigger than most people will catch in a lifetime, let alone release. Glad Curtis had the camera to share the catch!

About a month ago a guy I work with sent me an email with the picture in this article. He indicated that it was his cousin who caught it and that it was a new Utah state record. I have been waiting see it posted somewhere because he didn't know the size or weight . Thanks for posting the article to help fill in the details!

I'm so glad he released it i hope whoever else catches does the same. Becuase it's always fun going up there knowing you can go up there and have a heck of a good time catching lots of small fish but also have a chance of reeling in a big giant cut.
