Launched from CFP about 0715. Water was back up so I wanted to see if the pattern would hold from the previous time. Jason started throwing a chrome and blue trap because the water was really dingy. He says good fish, and it starts pulling drag, fights for a while and gets to the boat, I reach down to lip it and its a big smally, as soon as I reach it turns, darts, and pulls off....pooop. Continued on and I boated 2 back to back on a shakeyhead-roboworm(warmouth) and moved down the banks. He hooks another pig on a jig sets the hook, comes to the top, swirls and pulls off...womp.womp...womp. We continue to work the banks and catch around 10. I couldn't get any up in the fresh grass like the last time, and he was having great luck on the trap. Water was real dingy and had some debris from the storms. We decided to fish for some panfish at the end and caught several nice shellcrackers. Camp Columbus is a mess. All fish were caught shallow 1-4ft. It was good to get on the water to clear my mind. Pics are on the phone, maybe I can upload later. We have also decided to get rid of our pride and start using a net, no more big ones to get away! Hope everyones familes and friends are ok from the storms.

Seth
