Boysen tourney Wyo.
#1
Fished the 1st tourney of the year last week on my favorite lake.
6 days produced eyes going from 21 1/4 in. to 27 1/2 in. for my wife and I. Nice fish just not alot of them.
1st day we ended up in 2nd place but coulden't get into any decent fish on Sunday. We ended up out of the money.
Tuff fishing as the water temps were 49 degrees and the lake has been dropped way down anticipating a large run off.
To make matters worse I managed to lose a GL3 Loomis rod and Quatem reel in the lake on Sunday. It's in about 10 feet of water so maybe with a GPS way point on my sonar I'll be able to find it.

On the up side I'm excited and happy that my son (mike4cobra) will be coming up and fishing a June tourney at Boysen with me. It will be great to have him in the boat with me again[cool]

It looks like your bad luck still holds for you Bud with the gear, sorry to hear that you lost a rod and reel[:/]

Nice report Roger, most of us would be happy campers to catch an eye over 27 inches but I bet the is nothing special for that lake.[Wink]
Too bad about losing the rod and reel, hopefully you can get it back. If the water isn't too deep, maybe an underwater fishing camera would help you find it.
Good luck on your upcoming tournaments.
