33 hole map
#1
Anothor member asked me for some good spots to fish around 33hole. I could not give gps coordinates to my honey holes so I made this map instead. Remember use caution when hiking around 33hole.Enjoy[Wink]

Skull and crossbones = You might end up on that show " I shouldn't be alive" if you go into those areas. Just kidding use extra caution in the general vicinity of the crossbones.

I can't stress this enough bring water and lots of it. Beer dosen't always cut it in 100F + weather. A few times I was forced to drink lake water mmmm. Know your limits its hard to tell by looking at the map but the whole area has alot of vertical terrain. Use your noodles and ya'all should be fine.

Come summer all 3 parking lots fill up with no more spaces left. Soon as winter rolls around turns into a ghost town. Ah it couldn't get here fast enough.

And honestly syn if I had 4x4 I would never go to the hole again. Thats what makes it the "hole" you park at the top and descend down. Syn check out some of these backcountry maps tons of great 4x4 spots you might not even know existed.

thanx for the link!! you're right 4pound i should be putting that 4x4 to work out there. only, i'm still a little stand offish about wheelin from my ordeal out at hemmingway last october[shocked]. i had 4wd then too still got stuck in the mud, but then again i had street tires and standard suspension. maybe when i get my winch or a come-along and a big steel spike to drive into the ground to hook my come-along/winch to, i'll look into wheelin again or maybe i just gotta throw caution to the wind and go for it, just gotta remember to bring a shovel LOL [cool]

When I had a 4x4 I drove almost all of those spots. With the water so low, these roads no longer reaches the shoreline. You would have to walk in to fish.
