Last Weekend Update
#1
Had some chance to hit up a few places over the weekend (Thurs evening through Monday) Here's the results

Lake Lowell- a few smallmouth hanging out in the rocks, mostling hitting on small crappie jigs. The catfish are loving all the flooded vegetation, we caught quite a few on worms.

Snake River in Marsing- Caught about 12 smallmouth between the 3 of us, mostly on jigs and worms. Catfish are really biting on the main stem, mostly on cutbait and crickets. We pulled out a 10 pounder and saw 3 or 4 more 10 lb fish caught by others.

Swan Falls below the dam- catfish biting here too, mostly on worms. Sturgeon weren't biting all that well, after 6 hours I had 2 bites and briefly hooked into 1 fish. Water is really high and still not very fishable. I was throwing 6 oz pyramid weights to stick on the bottom.

Sunday night went below swan Falls and not even so much as a bite. 5 and 6 oz bank sinkers weren't even attempting to hold on the bottom with the water flowing at 29300cfs. We used worms and then cut up a carp that a guy near us caught. We gave up at about 1:30 am and buzzed over to Lake Lowell and fished the canal and caught three small chanel cats between 2:15am and 3:30.

At Lowell were you fishing from a boat for the cat? Was it day or night? I was thinking of heading out there Friday for cats but have never fished Lake Lowell. I would be using a boat.
