Another first for me today! I was out doing my spring multi-species fishing using shad when I heard a splash and wingbeats behind me. An osprey had grabbed a nice crappie about 50 feet from my boat and took it home for dinner! Really cool!!!<br /><br />I fished a very popular area and talked with drumking and craazyboutbass today. I caught a number of species again, including blue cat, channel cat, largemouth, spot, and crappie. I enjoyed the beautiful morning, but quit before the Friday afternoon crowd started seriously cruising the lake. Lots of people fishing, and everyone that I was near were friendly and polite. Great day!<br />
