Henry's Fork/Warm River Report

I went out for a few hours to the Henry's Fork up by the warm river. I didn't have much luck on the Henry's Fork, but I caught a couple small rainbows (on worms/spinning gear) on the warm river.

I was fly fishing on the Henry's Fork throwing different types of salmon flies. The salmon flies were in full force for the majority of the time I was there. The wind/rain made it difficult for me to fly fish.

There were a TON of people out fishing. Most were in drift boats.

I wish the weather would have worked out better!

Damn good quality though.

11.6mb is about 10x larger than the largest should be. I went ahead and optimized your pic for you. 750kb or so is leaps and bounds better than 11.6mb, and took me 3 minutes to do...might look into optimizing them before posting.

Pretty fish for sure though - sounds like fun!

It was good to meet you at the shop today. I went out fishing after you came in. picked up a few fish, one on top biggest around 15". Lost a nice 19" or so too. Later we floated ora to vernon and did well. Caught fish on top and with rubber legs. Poured rain and blew hard but fishing was good and we had the whole place to ourselves.

Before posting pics, hit up that site and open the picture. Then all you'll really need to do is go to File > Save, choose jpg, and bring quality to 60. That cut it down from 11mb to 1.2mb for me, and I didn't see any quality loss. If you want to bring the file size lower, adjust the image size with Image > Image Size.

I realize I was less than helpful last night and I apologize. Vodka really is a terrible thing.

Flyfishingfool - Yeah, it was good to meet you too. It sounds like you did well. How long will these salmon flies last? If they don't go away soon, I will have to come back in the shop and have you show me some more good flies to use. So do you have a drift boat then?
