Poor Man’s Fishing Tournament Rules Sheet


1. Only can weight in 3 walleyes, 3 perch and combo of 3 bluegills or crappies.
2. Walleyes must be 15 inches long and pan fish min. 8 in long.
3. Each team member must complete, sign and submit an official entry form with complete entry fee by the published due date(August 6th 8am).
4. Any person 17 years of age or younger must be teamed with a parent or guardian. No persons under age 12 may participate as contestants.
5. This entry form must be signed by both team members. Failure to do so will mean return of entry form. Entries will only be accepted when all information is complete and signed.
6. Weight ins are at 3:00 pm sharp every fifteen minutes late result in loss of a pound of total weight. After 45 mins forfeit the tournament.
7. Cash awards and prizes are based on a number of participants.
8. Use of alcohol or drugs (other than those prescribed by a licensed physician; or purchased over the counter), during the tournament is prohibited. Violation of this rule may result in disqualification from present and future events.
9. Everyone must pay their $50 entry fee by 8 am August 6th.
10. August 5th I will be staying at camp ground north side of Lake Hendricks you can find me there as cell phone reception is not great try texting as well 605-201-7299. Look for a pop up camper with a tan Escalade out front.
11. All Border lake rules apply!
12. Live bait may be used. Fish by your own methods as long as they are not illegal.
13. TEAMS: You may enter alone or with a partner of your choice. No more than two (2) persons will be allowed in a participating boat during TOURNAMENT hours.
14. 8. BIG FISH: Big fish entries are optional at $10.00 per TEAM. Only one Big Fish entry per TEAM. Only one (1) big fish will be weighed in and contestants will have that fish marked and designated as his/her big fish at weigh-in. It is the anglers responsibility to know if they are signed up for big fish.
15. PRIZES: Prizes will be given after the TOURNAMENT. Angler/s must be present to rece
