Just curious if the spring time is a good time for catching these things. I have yet to do so and am getting kinda antsy.

I went to strawberry a few days ago and they were in the weeds. Still in winter mode and you could just pick them up by hand and they would not move much. When it warms up in a few weeks you should be able to get lots of them. You prob could get some at warmer waters like UL but not many in there.
