Currant Creek 6-11

Made it up to Currant Creek Friday. Still lots of snow up there, but the main road off Highway 40 was in great shape. Made the drive from the highway to the dam in about 25 minutes. Fishing was great both Friday night and Saturday morning. We fished the east shore just below the overlook. There were loads of planter rainbows that were tough to keep off the hook, and the Tiger Trout were very active. Caught around 20-30 fish both days and kept a couple for the grill later.

Thank you for the post utahfisher. I have been thinking about going up there myself. Now I know that I will head that way.
That sure is a beautiful place. Even when fishing wasa little slow it is just fun to look around.
