Flaming Gorge - Fish Lake...

Thanks for the replys on my last post = )
Im supposed to be heading to Fish Lake tomorrow for the night... the weathers going to cool down a little bit tomorrow and might be a little bit windy. I've never been up there, so I was wondering if you guys know if it's still a good idea. (ive got the kiddos) Or if anyone has been up recently that could tell me about the weather.

Anyway... if not. Any suggestions where TO go? We want to camp out for a night, and definitely catch some fish! My top two choices are Fish lake or Flaming Gorge... not sure which one would be warmer or better fishing....

Are you taking a boat or hitting it from shore???

Either place is flat nasty when the wind decides to get rough while in a boat. FG does have coves to duck into however. Of the two as far as fishing from shore, FG. My choice as far as good free shoreline camping spots. FG.

The Gorge has some pretty good fishin right now and the water is pretty warm. Of course I say that and I was the only one out of like 20 people who would get in without a wetsuit. But anyways they were killing them last week by carter creek and FG has a ton of places that you can get out of the wind. We had so much fun there!
