Last time I was up which was a couple weeks ago. People were putting in next to the ramp but the ramp itself wasnt much of an option for most.

Yes you can. its been filling up now for awhile now. cpl days anywho. You can use the boat ramp or at the big hallow or also known as maple grove camp site. Walleye are biting great and the small mouths been a hitting hard as well. There has been a lot of logs and such floating around where its been filling up so be careful and save some eyes if your after em for me.....[sly][sly][fishon]

Good to know it's turning on. The largemouth have been fun, but I've been needing a smallie fix. Is the water still really murky? Is it clearer towards the dam?

O always looks a little dark to me lol. You can see carp about the first ft if that helps? Temps was 62-64 degrees.

It is usually a bit murky, but as long as it's not downright muddy, I'm good with it. Thanks for the info, I think I'll give it a shot next week.

Sounds like I had better get up there. I kept avoiding it because of the high water. Guess I was off on that one.

I was at Twin yesterday and there were bluegill all over the shallows. I was wishing that I'd brought my 3wt, but I was more than happy to play with their bigger cousins instead. Good luck up there. The power squadron is out in force, so be prepared.
