Bear Lake - A Couple Questions

Most important question first of course - what do the fish there tend to respond to best from the shore, and how has fishing been so far this year?

#2 - Do I have any hope at all to find a camping spot for this weekend without taking Friday off and heading up early morning? What are some good spots?

I've fished over there a couple of times this year and only caught average sized carp, nothing big. Everything I've caught has been on a nightcrawler.
