The day started out overcast and calm, but hot. I picked up a CFF All Star underneath the Wolftever bridge at abt 7:45. We stayed on deep spots relatively easily. Over the next 6 hrs David proceeded to provide lessons on how to fish some deep structure that I had never really fished before. David has lots of fishing knowledge and experience and he is willing to teach.

We tried 8 to 10 spots, with only three or four producing fish. We ended up with 33 clicks for keeper crappie (all ejected) – nothing over about 13.25â€. We caught most of ‘em on 1/16th oz jigs in ghastly minnow, yellow Lake Fork, blue ice, just about anything. I have attached a pic of the 30th and 31st fish we pulled in just before I let David out at abt 1:45.

It turned out to be a great day of catching and learning for me. David is a great guy to have in the boat.

Shout out to DK: Great to meet you. Thank you for putting me onto some good fishing knowledge. I hope we can go fishing sometime soon.

Da Booker T Baron
