Syn- I’m sorry those pics bring back horrid nightmares but figured I would post them up as a general hazard warning to others. Trying to get close to the shoreline is just not worth the risk of getting your rig stuck.
Lvdude- Honestly they didn’t even put up a fight but it sure was fun teaching those suckas to never hit a firetiger crank bait again the bad devil sitting on my shoulder kept telling me to put em on a live bait rig for a chance at a decent striper LOL [:p]
Whizzle- It’s funny you bring that up because the firetiger J shad rap is one of my favorite lures believe me it works on big fish and stripers too. Most of my gear is shad patterned and every angler on the water is throwing a shad pattern.
I don’t think like everyone else. I also work the lure like a jerkbait so it kind of imitates a really colorful crawdad more than a shad. I also tried some shad patterns didn't get any big fish action.
