odc 420l inflatable seat
#1
i have owned a odc 420l for the last year, it has been a good tube and i have enjoyed it. i was wondering about upgrading to the inflatable seat.

i believe it will make it sit a little higher in the water, and also make it pack down allot smaller.

creek company is out of stock and will be until next spring[pirate]

they say there dealers ordered more then they expected. does anybody know of someone with one in stock or who might have one.

thanks dave

[cool][#0000ff]Compare the dimensions on the seat with Outcast Fish Cat Deluxe...or Super Fat Cat. If they are even close you can get one of those from Outcast and they will work. The inflated seat fills up the space alloted and no more. You just don't want too much extra hanging out. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]And you are right. The inflated adds a slight bit of height as well as comfort adjustability. And it does definitely help if you need to pack it into a smaller space.[/#0000ff]

The inflatable seat does have the advantages you write about plus having a range of adjustments means more comfort.

There's supposed to be guy on ebay that sells the whole ODC boat for $99, but I don't know if that's with the inflatable seat.

You might also try stuffing a heavy duty air mattress, (or a couple of inflatable pillows) in the cavities though this is not as good a solution as the original. Look in the archives under my name for previous discussion with shig.
