Hit Floyd Lamb about 7am.. Was at the back pond looking for bass action.. Bass where right at the shore picking off bluegills so i go to a powerbait worm 3 casts later BAM!!
was using 4 lb test on ultralight rod... Thought line was gonna snap but I got him in..
Saw one other angler reel in a nice LMB.. Lots of baby lmbs around too.. Went home Around 9am.. The Bass are there just gotta work em...

[font "Calibri"][/font]Hell yea dude! Nice pond bass. I was wondering how other anglers have been doing, thanks for the report. I’m surprised on how well those non stocked ponds hold up over the years.

You would be surprised on how big they get feeding on blue gills over the years. Remember their numbers are low. If it wasn’t for C&R anglers like me you probably wouldn’t have caught that fish. Do what’s right to kept this small fishery alive for many years to come. Peace [cool]
