Building a 'Kayak Crate'...

If you are looking at getting yourself a Kayak then you are most likely at some point going to need a ‘Kayak Crate’.

There are those that you can buy but it’s nothing to build your own.

I went ahead and added a lid to mine, it’s not necessary especially if you are fishing calm water. I used 2 crates to build the lid which doubles up as an additional storage area. It’s very convenient for those ‘need to get to’ items…













Time to deal with those sharp edges...



Attaching the crate to the Kayak...





Keeping it closed… The last thing you want is if you happen to flip that all your stuff ends up in the ‘drink’…
