Went to Willards North marina yesterday morning and launched about 7;30. Nice morning water temp at 74.3 air comfortable. Trolled along the North dike running bottom bouncer with worm harness on one rod and crankbait on the other. No action on worm harness, tried different blades and speeds but never caught anything on it, however, caught 7 catfish on the crankbait. I was only trolling about 1.0 to 1.2 so the lure wasn't very deep at all. Then I put a crankbait on the other rod and speeded up some. Caught 1 more catfish, a 22 in. wiper and 25 in. carp. About 1pm the skiers showed up so I left. Have pic of carp and wiper, but was going to take picure of catfish at the cleaning station, but my phone fell in the livewell and that was the end on that.

[#0000ff]Here, you can use the pictures I took at the south marina of my cats at the cleaning station. I was "bleeding" them in the first picture. Second picture is my "take home". Yum.[/#0000ff]

Nice job on those wipers! Never heard of a Carp hitting a plug before! Cool for cat bait. Been fishing with chubs for cats for a while and have yet to catch a carp. maybe they know whats in store for them if the eat chub on the south bank.
Were you able to get you phone working again after the livewell thing? Try this before you throw it away. Remove the battery (if you can) and put it and some white rice in a ziplock bag. Leave it in there for 2 or 3 days. Then replace battery, charge it and then try to power it up. There is a good chance the rice will draw out the water and absorb it. With some luck it will work again!

I never caught a carp or a catfish on a crankbait before, but the carp put up a great fight. I bled him like Tube Dude does, so something is eating him.
Thanks for the picures Pat, I'm sure they will taste just as good as the ones from up North!
