Upper Palisades

Has anyone fished Upper of Lower Palies this yeat?We are going to ride in on Sarurday and spend the night. Just wondering if anyone has caught fish and what you would recomend. We are fly fishermen for the most part, but will throw a spinner if we have too! Thanks

I was up at the upper lake about a week ago and only brought my spinning gear but caught about 5 fish in 10 minutes of trying with Panther Martins. The water was about 10 ft higher than normal and everyone I talked to said the fish were hitting on almost any nymph, you just have to get it down pretty deep.

Out of curiosity--- How did the creek look? Still in runoff??? High or off color? Thanks!

The creek was still running pretty high but it was clear. I saw a lot of people fly fishing above the lower lake in that flat section.

Thanks! That gives me more of an idea on how all of the creeks at about that elevation and area are doing.
