Hit Lindon for a few hours today with Ivan. We used standard jigs and ended up with 6 crappie, a few gills, and a ton of WB. No cats today, it was too hot for me to sit for any length of time in one spot. Sorry....no pics. Also...Much Much less crowded, Maybe AF is back running again and took about 1/2 of the crowd away....dunno, but it was nice.
Happy Fishing

Yeah, We stayed fairly close to the harbor. They were out deep in 7-9'. We tried all over in closer to shore and only caught a few...went out deep and found them scattered all over.

I have yet to catch a crappie or bluegill out of UL. Are they usually schooled up with the white bass?

They are usually in "pockets" or loose schools. The key is to find one and the depth they are holding at. They love docks and rocks/Weeds. Slow moving and small is the ticket. Lite bite, small bobber as well. The WB are sometimes with them, but the WB will linger further from structure...although I have caught crappie and gills in the middle of the lake....I guess they were just wandering out there. I have also found that the larger ones are deeper than the smaller ones....so you have to get past the dinks to get to the good sized ones as well. There are TONS of Gills N crappie of good size in UL now and they are biting great.

American Fork Harbor is open ang going full blast. It also has a brand new road.
I am sure you are correct about it taking back it's fair share of boating traffic.
